I compiled a list of things I have found most helpful in this business as well as ‘must do‘ things in the freebie trading world. 

Things to do PRIOR to starting…

1. Create a new email account: Use this new email account solely for this business. Yahoo and Google (gmail) both offer free email accounts. Once you start signing up on freebie websites, you may start getting more email than usual. If you have an account specifically for this purpose, personal email won’t get lost in the shuffle.

2. Single out one credit card: To complete most offers you will need a credit card. I have one credit card that I use exclusively for this business. It makes it easier to keep track of charges. You CAN use a debit card as long as it has a visa/mc logo. You CANNOT use any sort of prepaid credit or debit card. You CANNOT use a gift card. You also CANNOT use paypal plugin.

3. Paypal Verified: If you don’t already have one, sign up for a paypal account and get verified. Not all trade partners will require you to be verified but some do!

4. Use FIREFOX: Firefox seems to be the best browser to use to insure receiving credit for offers.

5. READ READ READ: Read as much as you can about the freebie business,  the FLR forum is a great ressource. There is lots and lots of very helpful information.

YOU ARE NOW READY TO TRADE!!!  

It is time to find a trade partner. You can find a trade partner in a few ways on the Free Lunch Room forum; 

Creating a new thread in the LOOKING TO COMPLETE OFFERS section and choose someone who responds to your thread.

Search the PAYING FOR REFERRALS section and find someone you are comfortable with.
Read all over the forum and click on the signature of someone you respect to view his/her trade thread.

Once you and your trade partner have agreed on a trade follow the next steps…

1. Proxy: Make sure you are not using a proxy server.

5. Review offers: Take your time and look at the offers on the freebie site. Make a list of ones you are interested in.

You are only allowed to complete 1 offer from this company.

6. LOGOUT: Logout of the freebie website.

7. CLEAR YOUR COOKIES:

8. LOG IN: Log back in to the freebie site and complete an offer.

9. COMPLETE OFFERS: After you complete an offer make sure you wait on the confirmation page for a few minutes before closing it.

10. As long as you have not gone to any other site, you can continue to complete offers without clearing cookies again. If you have gone to another site follow directions 6 – 9 again to clear cookies.

Things to remember…

Make sure you keep DETAILED NOTES of everything. I created a spreadsheet that lists the following information;

Name of freebie site you are completing:
Name of trader you are working with:
Name of offer completed:
Phone number affiliated with offer:
Date offer completed:
Offer terms:
Cost of offer:
Date to cancel by if you are not pleased with offer:

Even if an offer says ‘INSTANT’ most of the time it will not be instant. Just sit tight and wait it out!!

All right, after reading about the business of freebie trading, you are finally ready to complete offers?  To go green and make some money… GREAT! HOWEVER, there are some things that you NEED to know in order for you to get credit and turn green. Because If you do not get credit, you do not get paid. 

Why? 

One thing that you need to know is that the entire crediting process is all about COOKIES. Cookies are simple text files that get stored on your computer, and serves as a means of communication between sites. In order for the freebie site to know that you completed the offer, the offer site needs to transfer a cookie to your computer, which is then read by the Freebie Site and you get credited – a process that happens automatically.  Because affiliate company don’t know that you’ve completed an offer they won’t pay the Freebie site Network, then if the network is not paid, the referal won’t turn green… if the referal (you) doesn’t get is green he won’t be paid because the referer (me) won’t be paid by the Freebie Site.  (get the idea?)  GOOD!

In order for your computer NOT to act like a cookie monster and eat your cookies so that you don’t get credited, lets talk about what you need to do to set your browser up for crediting success. 

TIPS ABOUT COMPLETING OFFERS

1.  It’s a Good idea to use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. Other browsers bring unnecessary issues.  (Firefox in the most suggest browser to use)
2. Set your browser to accept all cookies. 
3.  Disable any Popup Blockers and Anti-Virus programs.
4. Before completing your first offer, you must CLEAR COOKIES and re-login to the freebie site. Then complete the offer.
5.  After completing the offer, leave browser window on the confirmation page for 10 minutes. That will allow the browser record the confirmation page information…
6. If you aren’t credited instantly or within the specified time, do not panic. It takes a while sometime. Also, there is a risk that some offers will not credit there is no warranty. In some cases, you can submit a Manual Credit Request (MCR). However, most sites are moving away from this because of the amount of fraud that arises.
* NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO CLEAR COOKIES BETWEEN OFFERS AS LONG AS YOU ARE WORKING ON THE SAME FREEBIE SITE. IF YOU START ANOTHER SITE, YOU NEED TO CLEAR COOKIES. SO ONCE AGAIN, LET ME EMPHASIZE, DO NOT CLEAR COOKIES BETWEEN OFFERS!

 That’s Pretty much it. As long as you have done the steps listed above, you should be fine. If you (for some reason) decide to use Internet Explorer, I have some instructions below on clearing cookies in Internet Explorer.

IF you choose to use any other browser these are the instruction to clear your cookies in Microsoft Explorer

·     Select “Tools” > “Internet Options” > “General”.

·     Under the heading “Temporary Internet files,” click on “Delete Cookies…”

·     Click “OK” for the “Delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files folder?” prompt.

·     Click “OK” to exit.

Also, I recommend that you start with free offers or offers that are inexpensive ($1 trials or so). If you do this, you will spend less than $5 to start, and everything else will be from your profits. I also recommend that you look for offers that usually credit instantly, or in a relatively short period of time.

Why should I do freebie trading?… Mmm, that is a good question.  

Well, let me tell you about what got me into this amazing  and lucrative activity.  I actually got into freebie trading by accident,  I was trying out another online business (like I told you before I did try different programs) and someone introduced me into  Project Payday . 

 At the beggining I was VERY skeptical and I didn’t sign up right away…  I actually felt like it was some kind of scam.  But being a open minded person by nature I got back into this site and I requested the FREE  infos.  Step by step I got into this business, very slowly at first… like a blind person trying to find his way in a new unknown area.  But as soon as I put time and confidence in this industry, reading about what it is and watching the tutorial videos available in the member section I realized that I was missing a lot of money or prizes available to me only because I didn’t know about it. 

 Once you’ve  joined Project Payday  you will be invited to  a great community at  The Free Lunch Room Forum  where you will be able to discuss with other people about the freebie industry,  finding tips and tricks from other users as well as starting to trade and earn money.

 Now, why in the world should you care about trading freebies?  Well for some person it might be because they wish to earn an extra income to help paying the bills at the end of the month, for others it can be because they wish to find a way to work at home (like a stay at home mother for instance), it can also be only to receive money and prizes for cheaper than what they cost in store.  It can even be to make some gifts for people that you care about.

 Let’s look  at what is very easily achievable when you start trading freebies and how much you will  need to spend in order to receive your prize or money.

 Step 1:  Joining a Freebie Site from a referal link of mine like:  Cash.zipnadazilch.com or CashRewards.Git-R-Free.com

Cost: Free

 Step 2:  Completing offers to complete the site requirements  (go green)

Cost:  Can be FREE or very cheap (up to 5$) but you will be PAID 20$ BY ME to do so. Your net profit is: 15$ not very much but still it’s yours… ;0)

 Step 3:  Refer other people (friends, family members, anyone living in the USA or Canada) to complete referals on your freebie site to receive your gift from the IFW site. Let’s say you’ve selected a 40$ paypal cash prize, you will have to find only 1 referal that complete the site requirements (go green) to receive it.  It is normally understood that people are paying to find referals (usually 50% of the prize value).

 So, your COST to find a referal will be: 20$

 Now let’s do the maths…

 Method 1: You first spend 5$ to complete offers, I paid you 20$ in your payal account you now have a profit of 15$ dollars. 

 Method 2: You spend 20$ to find a referal and receive 40$ from the freebie site, you make another net profit of 20$.

 Total profit: 35$

 If that is not NICE I don’t know what it is…
